Live with loss. Recover with love.
Missing?
In life, memory, and wealth, we inevitably lose things.
missingbitcoins is a visual meditation on how we face loss,
how we accept it,
and how love becomes the only way back.
*An ongoing visual archive inspired by the 6–8 million bitcoins that may never return.
Each piece reflects the fragility of digital memory and the value we attach to what is lost.

Missing Bitcoins – Genesis is a conceptual digital-art and pixel-poster series inspired by the estimated 6–8 million bitcoins lost forever in human history. Each poster transforms the idea of disappearance, memory, and digital identity into a visual language built with refined pixel textures, CRT-noise atmospheres, and minimal storytelling.
The project reflects on what it means to lose something that cannot be touched yet holds immense value. Through pixel art, glitch patterns, and retro-signal aesthetics, the Missing Bitcoins series creates a fictional archive of “lost posters,” imagining each missing bitcoin as a character, an event, or a forgotten moment in the early blockchain era.
Created by Xin Liu, a visual artist based in Canada, this series forms the genesis phase of a larger experimental universe that blends art, technology, and narrative design. New posters, lore entries, and collectible editions will continue to expand this world.
